Fly Drive Tampa

Tampa is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Florida, and has plenty for visitors to enjoy including the famous Busch Gardens amusement park, and the nearby Gulf Coast Beaches of Clearwater and St Pete's. If you want to use the city as the starting point for a fly drive holiday exploring some of Florida's less well known attractions.
Day 1 Pick up your car hire at Tampa Airport and then head north to Jacksonville, where you can spend the rest of the day exploring the many attractions of this historic city.
Day 2 Head south to Orlando, the family holiday capital of Florida, where attractions include Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.
Day 3 Drive around 187 miles from Orlando to the popular Atlantic coast resort of Fort Lauderdale. On the way, you could stop off at the kennedy Space centre to see some rockets.
Day 4 Miami is just a short drive south of Fort Lauderdale, and offers great shopping and wild nightlife, as well as plenty of daytime culture to soak up along with the sunshine.
Day 5 Today you will cross Florida to Fort Myers, a popular Gulf Coast resort with some of the best golf and beaches in the state.
Day 6 On the last day of your trip, drive north along the coast through some stunning resort towns to Tampa where you can drop your car off and head home.
